Who Are We?

We are the Barfuss family (Barfuss = Bearfoot in German). There is a really cool story about our original Bearfoot ancestor, ask us sometime! Mike and I have renovated each home we have lived in (we have lived in AZ, MI, NC, FL and now WI). Each time we do as much of the work ourselves as we can and involve our 5 children in the process. We love the transformation, but hate living in it! We decided to start our company to apply our skills and passion to improving the homes around us in our neighborhood and local communities. We believe in teaching our children a strong work ethic and serving the community we live in. We believe this business can help us do both as our kids work alongside us to take a home that has fallen into disrepair and make it into something another family would be excited to live in and enjoy for years to come.
